Today was my mom's actual birthday, so we took her to frozen yogurt after dinner! She really likes it, and we all didn't mind having it either. It tastes pretty great!

Today my mom got home from a scrapbooking trip with her friends. Tomorrow is her birthday, so we gave her some presents and took her to dinner tonight since we have more time on the weekends. It was a good birthday dinner and we all definitely enjoyed it. Also, now that my mom has received her present, I posted 118/366. We gave her the photograph for her birthday so I had to post it late.

Today was a wonderful day. Went on a photo adventure with two great friends and photographers, pictured here in my usual levitating style. You can see all of the photographs I edited from our adventure here. After that I got to just relax for a bit before making some awesome cookies with my awesome girlfriend. Overall a really great saturday.

Today was a good day overall. School wasn't bad, and I had a good evening overall. This weekend should be decent overall as well. I had to wait to upload this photograph because it was for my mom's birthday, and I couldn't let her see it before her birthday.

This one goes into the "art" category. I took a few liberties. I quite like it though. Today was a decent day. I was tired all day, but nothing too difficult happened. Tomorrow is friday! Yay! I'm excited for it to be the end of the week.

Went to the library today for a short while and decided it should be my photograph of the day. I quite like the library. It's calming and relaxing. Quite a nice place. Today wasn't great. Tomorrow will be better.

Today was a good day. It was wonderfully sunny. I quite enjoyed it. Looking forward to more sunny days! I've got tomorrow off of school, so that's pretty neat! It'll be a good day. Due to my indecision of color versus black and white, I included a black and white version. I think it looks pretty spiffy.

Compared to the amount of photographs I took today, I liked and edited a way higher ratio that I normally do. So that's good. But it also makes it extremely difficult to pick one. I ended up picking this one, but the rest can be seen here. It was super fun playing with my friends in the talent show, definitely enjoyed it. Overall good day today too!

I didn't really like the photo I took. So I mirrored it. I like it a little more now. I really wish I had enough time so I could read some enjoyable books. I haven't been able to do that in forever. Maybe this summer. Who knows. Anyways, tomorrow is friday! And I am excited.

Today I attempted some photographs of what I call "fruit splash photography". I quite like the style but I wasn't really able to do very well with my equipment. I was using a strawberry and this was the best photograph I got, but it's just a splash. I'm excited for next school year because I'll have the resources at college in order to do a lot more creatively. I used to think I was opposed to commercial photography (which is what this splash is used in a lot), but who says I can't be a fine art photographer as well as a commercial photographer? Anyways, it'll be neat. Today was a decent day. I wish the sun would come out. But, overall, I can't complain.

I just love these types of photos so much. I feel I am able to do anything with photography. That's why I created this image and others like it. Today was a decent day for a Monday. Had a good band practice, the weather wasn't too terrible. Just kind of a calm day overall I suppose.

Today was a wonderful day. No school, no worries! We had an easter egg hunt a little late, it was quite fun. Saw some amazing clouds. Then had a wonderful dinner and movie. A great day overall for sure. I definitely enjoyed it!

Yes, I realize this is super similar to 28/366. But she's just such a darn cute cat when she sleeps like this that I can't resist photographing her. Anyways, today was a pretty great day. I did little to nothing in all of my classes today, and then got to spend the evening with my wonderful girlfriend. It was splendid.

What a beautiful sunset there was! I mean, I've seen better, but I haven't seen a sunset in a long time. Today it was light out past 8:00! It was crazy! But I like it. I like this time of year, when it starts getting lighter out. It's nice. Today was a good day. Went on a field trip for most of school, then got to relax after school. And tomorrow is the last day of school for this week, woohoo! Looking forward to this weekend.

Look at that number! 100/366! That's crazy! I have taken a photograph of the day for one hundred days straight. That is just wild to me. I went to a Portland Trailblazer game tonight, it was fun. I enjoyed it. Our seats were way down on the 100 level, which is located on the left side of this photograph. But I went all the way to the top of the stadium for this high point of view so I could use this tilt-shift effect on it. I quite like it. I have a ton more shots from the game (225 total) that I couldn't edit tonight, but sometime soon I'll look through and see if I captured any good shots. Anyways, I had a good evening and overall day! It was a good Monday.

Happy Easter! Today I had to get up early so we could hunt easter eggs with our family friends. Afterwards, we dyed eggs and I painted mine as angry birds. Then after our friends left, we went to visit other friends who were camping not far from our home. So the left side of this double diptych is the first part of my day, and the right side is the second. It was a good day.

The moon was stunning tonight. Unfortunately I don't have the best equipment for photographing the moon, but I did my best. The bottom one is about as close as I can get. I like it, though. It's pretty awesome! Anyways, I had a good day today. I like fridays.

I've been working on taking portraits with the medium format camera I am borrowing. I took a digital one of my sister and myself as test shots, and this is how I imagine them to be when I develop the film next week. I quite like them. They look how I wanted them to. I like the emotion you can see in a person when they're not smiling. So I made sure all of my subjects weren't smiling, and on a plain background. Anyways, I'm excited to see the results next week. Today wasn't great. But then again, this week isn't great. Looking forward to the fact that tomorrow is friday.

It's been almost a month since I've levitated, and it feels good to be back in the game. Last levitation was 67/366, on March 7th. I'm so glad it's finally getting sunny enough outside to be out there. It's great. Today was a decent day. School was just kind of bland. But at least it wasn't bad! After school ended my day got significantly better. My day often gets better after school is over.

It's a strange thought to think that today, the first day back after spring break, is the beginning of the end of my high school career. We're in the home stretch. We have two more days off other than weekends before the end of the year. It's so crazy. It's insane to think that in five months I will be heading off to college. Very surreal.

Today I went on a random adventure with my dad. This is at the Portland library. It's employing an effect known as 'tilt-shift' which makes the people and objects look like miniatures. This is my first attempt at it, and I think it turned out pretty good. I'll probably use it a few times in the future. Anyways, today was the last day of spring break, sad. But it was a good spring break so I can't complain. It'll be a tough week back. Hopefully I'll make it through!
