Today I saved three people's lives. It was the third time I've donated blood. I'm glad I signed up to do it. It feels good to give. It was the highlight of my all too regular day.

Today I voted for the first time in my life. It felt good exercising my right to have a say in what happens in this country. It was very exciting learning about everything and who was elected and what was passed. Today was my busy day. I kept checking election results during my last class, I wanted to learn things! Voting is interesting to me for some reason.

When I woke up this morning it was extremely foggy. I love fog. And I haven't done one of these photos in a while. I'm excited to take photography classes next term, I want to get back into it. Today was a normal day of classes.

We put up some free sandwich tickets we got from the game. What nice guys we are. Today was a normal sunday, lots of homework with some goofing off and hanging out.

Today was an awesome day. I started it off with a little rock climbing with my friends before getting to spend the day with my father. We went to breakfast, bowled with my friends, watched the Oregon Duck vs. USC game, and then went to our football game. It was an awesome day, I definitely enjoyed spending it with him.

Hawaiian shirts, anybody? We went to the mall today and couldn't resist these super awesome and cheap hawaiian shirts. We plan on rocking these in unison frequently. We're so cool.

Today I went to the Photo Society meeting and we did some light painting. This is one of the members running and jumping with a bike light on her boot. I think it looks pretty cool. The meeting was decent.

Happy halloween! We had these balloons that had a light inside of them, they were kind of fun. Fairly normal day. I enjoy hanging out with people while doing homework, it makes it less terrible.

Today I experienced the library late night. I went there to work on a lab report and stayed until about 1 am. The library is open 24 hours for students which is pretty cool.

A majority of today was spent in a tent. We camped out (again) to get tickets for the game next week. The lines were much more organized this time around. At least it wasn't raining as hard as last time.

My friends and I all have each other's schedules written down so we always know when the others are in class or not. How cute. It's crazy to think that the term is half over. Tomorrow I have and advising appointment where I will start to decide on next term's classes. College is so much more fast paced than high school.

Today I got the two shirts and free poster I ordered from my favorite funny guy, Olan Rogers. He's hilarious, and his shirts are awesome. I will be wearing this shirt on so many Mondays. Today was a good day because of this. Other than getting this in the mail, nothing notable happened.

Haven't taken a decent self portrait for a while, so I decided to do that today. Today we went out to breakfast with my friend's brother, who we dropped off at the airport later. Beside that I just worked on homework and hung out.

GAMEDAY! Today was spent waiting for the night game. We hung out with my friend's brother and tailgated waiting for the game. We won the game, it was fun to hang out and watch despite the rain. We had a good time.

I saw a photographer take photographs through a screen, focussing on it. I tried it. It's alright, I might try it again in the future. Today was my easy day of classes so I had plenty of time to prepare for my evening exam. I think I did pretty well, it wasn't too difficult.

I bought some running shoes the other day so that my friends and I could start running together. Today was the first day we ran, it was raining. It was short but good. I'm glad we'll be doing this regularly to stay in shape. This morning we woke up around 5am from our tents to stand in line for tickets. It was obnoxious because people who didn't camp out just got in line before anyone woke up from the tents. However, we still got good tickets. It was a decent experience. Because of the lack of sleep I was hardly staying away during my classes. I'm going to sleep well tonight because of a lack of sleep and the run!

Tonight we are camping out to obtain football tickets to the game next weekend. We're going to hopefully get front section seats, we're pretty excited. It's worth sleeping on concrete for the night. It'll make the dorm bed seem a little bit more comfortable. However, less sleep and more chilly temperatures sure won't help the cold I've developed. Oh well, it'll go away. Yay football tickets!

This is the peephole in my door. It looks super cool. Today I got to see some old friends of mine. I watched our away football game with them. It was a good time. Then I hung out with my friends and we did our usual; just hanging out not doing much. It's still enjoyable.

Today it rained. I was excited. And it was friday, making it better. I hung out with friends and had a good time. We stayed up really late because we started watching a long (but awesome) movie around midnight. It was a good day.

It's strange to think about, but sitting here writing my photo of the day posts I've realized that I haven't gone outside today at all. I haven't even left my floor of my dorm building. What a strange thing. Most of the time we have to leave the building to go get food but I didn't go to the dining hall today. I've spent all of the day hanging out in my room. We've played some games and done homework for a long while. As shown here, I spent a little time today printing out my course schedules and color coding them so I know what is going on in class and when it's happening. I figured since we're starting our third week of classes tomorrow I should probably get organized... I have my first midterm tomorrow! After only two weeks of classes. It's ridiculous. Anyways, just because I haven't left my room today doesn't mean I haven't had a good day. This place is starting to feel a little bit more like it's my room. It will never feel like home, but I think it's finally starting to become my room.

Today was gameday. We hung out in anticipation of the game, then spent most of the day at the game. We won, which was cool. Then got some dinner and hung out late into the night.

I like that they have these in our rooms. It's a cool thing. The campus is very green orientated, it's awesome. Today I had two lectures with most of the day off. I hung out with friends. Had an enjoyable time.

Every day I carry around these items, I wouldn't be able to get around without them. Definitely a change, having to keep all of these on me at all times. But I'm used to it now. Today was a decent day. Only two short classes and most of the day off. I hung out, did some homework, relaxed. I also went to the first meeting of the OSU Photo Society. It's a photography club, it's pretty cool.

Today was a long day. My first class started at 9am and my last class ended at 9pm. In addition, I woke up around 9:20. Luckily I made it to class by 9:30 and hadn't missed anything. Anyways, I have a total of 8 hours of classes every tuesday. I have two two hour breaks throughout the 12 hours of classes. Not the most fun day. And then I had to finish up some homework due tomorrow. At least I'm used to staying up late.

Today was my friend Kyle's birthday and he got his ears pierced as a present to himself. He wanted me to do a before and after photo for him so I figured I'd use it as my photo of the day. Today I hung out with friends and did a little work. I'm ready for the next week of classes!

Today I went on a little adventure with my friend Kyle. We visited some of his family in Eugene. It was cool. Then we came home just in time to see the end of our football game, which we won. Then we hung out and played games and whatnot.

Today was my easiest day class-wise by far. It will also be the day I do a lot of homework. I worked on homework today during my large amount of free time. And I still had plenty of time left. During which I play cards sometimes. Not much has changed.

My Mondays and Wednesdays are the same which is kind of cool. I like my classes so far. Also, this is how a lot of nights go. We haven't got much work yet so we veg out on video games. It's fun to hang out though.

Um. Well, I guess I didn't photograph anything today. I'm updating this on Sunday September 30th and I can't find a photograph from my camera or my phone from this day. What a terrible feeling.

Today I had a 3 hour biology lab. I can't remember what else I did. Probably hung out with friends.

I spruced up my walls with a few posters today. It looks much less barren now.

So today was the first day of classes. I had chemistry, biology, and digital imaging lectures and an environmental writing class. They were all sort of course introductions. They were good, I think they'll make a decent first term.

So I know the last few days have been super lame photographically. It's because my camera hasn't left my dorm building since I moved in. Or left my own floor, for that matter. I've been too busy to go out and shoot at all. Soon though.

This is Kyle. We're similar in many ways other than our names. I can tell we'll be friends for a while.

Today my friends and I took care of some things we needed to do for our classes. Then after we went to an art festival close to campus. I enjoyed it even though we weren't there for long. Then we just hung out. Classes start tomorrow. What a weird thing. I'm excited though.

Today I spent a majority of the day watching the away game we had. It was fun hanging out with friends and watching it on the big screen in our stadium. After we got food at a free barbecue and then just did our usual shenanigans, doing nothing for a long time and then playing games. It was a good day still.

I like my dorm building a lot. It's got a sweet view from many of the windows. This one is from the hall down the side of the building. The view from my room is nice too, we can see the park across the street from our room. It's sweet. Today I just hung out with friends and didn't do much. It was a good day. The night was fun because we hung out with the RAs that were running the front desk and played cards for a long time. I like the RAs in our building, they're fun.

Today I went on a hike with my major. It was pretty awesome, I'll definitely be going back to the spot we hiked at. After that I went to the convocation where they welcome new students. It's the same walk we'll do when we graduate, it was a cool ceremony. After I just hung out with people doing random things. Our floor played games late into the night, it was fun. I enjoy this. I'm sure there will be more to do when classes start, not so much randomness. But this is good for now.
