Today was my friend Kyle's birthday and he got his ears pierced as a present to himself. He wanted me to do a before and after photo for him so I figured I'd use it as my photo of the day. Today I hung out with friends and did a little work. I'm ready for the next week of classes!

Today I went on a little adventure with my friend Kyle. We visited some of his family in Eugene. It was cool. Then we came home just in time to see the end of our football game, which we won. Then we hung out and played games and whatnot.

Eating at Chipotle on a Friday night. Once again, not much has changed. Anyways, today my classes were light which is good for Friday. We hung out and played video games and cards. Good day and evening.

Today was my easiest day class-wise by far. It will also be the day I do a lot of homework. I worked on homework today during my large amount of free time. And I still had plenty of time left. During which I play cards sometimes. Not much has changed.

My Mondays and Wednesdays are the same which is kind of cool. I like my classes so far. Also, this is how a lot of nights go. We haven't got much work yet so we veg out on video games. It's fun to hang out though.

Um. Well, I guess I didn't photograph anything today. I'm updating this on Sunday September 30th and I can't find a photograph from my camera or my phone from this day. What a terrible feeling.

Today I had a 3 hour biology lab. I can't remember what else I did. Probably hung out with friends.

I spruced up my walls with a few posters today. It looks much less barren now.

So today was the first day of classes. I had chemistry, biology, and digital imaging lectures and an environmental writing class. They were all sort of course introductions. They were good, I think they'll make a decent first term.

So I know the last few days have been super lame photographically. It's because my camera hasn't left my dorm building since I moved in. Or left my own floor, for that matter. I've been too busy to go out and shoot at all. Soon though.

This is Kyle. We're similar in many ways other than our names. I can tell we'll be friends for a while.

Today my friends and I took care of some things we needed to do for our classes. Then after we went to an art festival close to campus. I enjoyed it even though we weren't there for long. Then we just hung out. Classes start tomorrow. What a weird thing. I'm excited though.

Today I spent a majority of the day watching the away game we had. It was fun hanging out with friends and watching it on the big screen in our stadium. After we got food at a free barbecue and then just did our usual shenanigans, doing nothing for a long time and then playing games. It was a good day still.

I like my dorm building a lot. It's got a sweet view from many of the windows. This one is from the hall down the side of the building. The view from my room is nice too, we can see the park across the street from our room. It's sweet. Today I just hung out with friends and didn't do much. It was a good day. The night was fun because we hung out with the RAs that were running the front desk and played cards for a long time. I like the RAs in our building, they're fun.

Today I went on a hike with my major. It was pretty awesome, I'll definitely be going back to the spot we hiked at. After that I went to the convocation where they welcome new students. It's the same walk we'll do when we graduate, it was a cool ceremony. After I just hung out with people doing random things. Our floor played games late into the night, it was fun. I enjoy this. I'm sure there will be more to do when classes start, not so much randomness. But this is good for now.

Well, this happens a lot. It's awesome though. We just hang out in our room with our door open and talk with people and hang out. I quite enjoy it. There was also a fire in our building at 12:30am and we had to stand outside for a long time before going back in. Luckily I hadn't gone to bed yet! But even with that it was a good day. It's interesting adjusting to this whole experience.

This summer wasn't even close to expectations. But they never are, are they? That doesn't mean it wasn't a good summer. Because it was.

I really like this photograph. Today I spent the day with my parents shopping for the few college items I needed. Afterward I got my hairs cut and then I had my birthday dinner at a tasty restaurant called Pastini's. I quite enjoyed it, I had never been there before. After that we had a tasty cake to celebrate. It was chocolate with peanut butter frosting. It's one of my favorite kinds. Super tasty. Afterward I relaxed for a while. Tomorrow is the last day of summer. It's crazy. I'll be packing up all of my stuff for college tomorrow. That's an insane thought. But I think I'm ready for it.

Today I turned 19. I always get criticized by my family for never smiling in any of my photos, so I figured today would be the right day to do a photo of me smiling. I did it for them, despite the fact that I really don't like my smile. Oh well. Anyways, today I got up late and relaxed for a while before driving myself out to a family gathering at a vineyard. It was decent, it was a cool place to walk around. Afterward I came home and took this photo before heading over to my friend's house to play some games. We then got some dinner and went to another friend's house to sit around the fire. Before the fire we had cake, pie, and cobbler that she made me for my birthday. It was tasty, and a super sweet (ha!) gesture. After desert, we all sat around the fire and enjoyed each other's company for several hours. It was a good time. Afterward I hung out with the guys and played a few more games before calling it a night. It was a good birthday, I enjoyed it. I liked the low profile nature of it. It was enjoyable.

Today I hung out with the guys yet again. Probably one of the last days I'll spend all day with them. Sad. But also exciting to be starting something new. Anyways, it was a good day.

Today was an interesting day. I spent the main portion of the day attempting to swim with my friends. We ventured a long way away to a place that we were unable to swim at. We started on our way home, only to be in stopped traffic for 45 minutes. After that frustration I relaxed at home for a while before hanging out with them and bugging my friend at his new job (pictured). Then we went to our favorite restaurant for one last time before we leave for college. It was great. A very good last time at it. Then we played Bohnanza which was enjoyable for me, while others were annoyed by it. I think we all enjoyed it overall though. Decent day overall. Not excited to clean my entire room tomorrow. But I'll get through it.

Today was a day of nothingness. I didn't do anything while I was home alone. Then I hung out with my friends and didn't do anything. Then I attempted to go do some star trails but couldn't find a good spot and just ended up taking these photos of the commons. Quite the uneventful day. I'm ready to start school. Also I'm ready for it to be fall and winter. I've decided I like winter better than summer. I'm tired of the heat.

Today I went to my very first college football game. I went with my two friends also attending OSU. We were going to go to the game last week but it was postponed. The game was awesome, we won against a team we probably weren't going to beat. It was super awesome and I'm excited to go to more games. I'm also excited to not have to drive in the hours of traffic and just be able to walk home. When I got home my family was hanging out with our family friends, and we proceeded to play games like we do every once in a while. The winning family gets a trophy until the next time. It's a fun tradition.

Today was an amazing day. I got together with a few friends and we road tripped to this awesome swimming hole called Three Pools. There's super clear and deep water (also very cold), with tons of things to jump off of. It was super awesome, I loved it. I brought my camera but only took four photographs so I didn't use any of those. They weren't very interesting. I was busy swimming. So I made this instead. I like it. Anyway, after we got back from swimming we played some poker. I won. Booyah.

Today I hung out with a few friends, once again not having much to do. We just did random things like shoot some hoops at night. Also eat donuts at the commons. It was a decent evening.

Today I went to the beach with my friend. Despite the constant thick fog all day, we took lots of photographs and had a great day. It was nice not having any plan and doing whatever we wanted to do. I really love this photograph. It's quite abstract, it's of the ocean with the sun in the thick clouds. Anyway, today was a super awesome day.

Today I hung out with my friends as usual. We've started having very little to do lately. Today we drove out to a specialty game shop to buy a game called Bohnanza. It's a super awesome card game that we played late into the night.

Went on a 14 mile bike ride with my family today. We had a great time. Then just hung out around home and had some tasty dinner my dad made. It was a good day.
